Jon Dreyer: Background

I have taught math at Lexington High School, at the Edwards Middle School in Charlestown, and summer school at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (the latter two as a student teacher). A high point of my days as a teacher has been one-on-one interaction with students. Now I get to do that all day as a mathematics tutor and computer science tutor.

I hold an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, M.S. in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a B.A. in mathematics from Carleton College, and a Massachusetts teaching license.

Before becoming an educator, I worked for many years as a computer software engineer. Music has been a constant thread throughout my life.
