Jon Dreyer: Background

I have been a full-time math tutor and computer science tutor since July 2009. I have taught math at Lexington High School (Lexington MA), at the Edwards Middle School (Charlestown MA), and summer school at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (the latter two as a student teacher). A high point of my days as a teacher was one-on-one interaction with students. Now I get to do that full-time as a mathematics tutor and computer science tutor.

I hold an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a M.S. in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a B.A. in mathematics from Carleton College. I am licensed in Massachusetts to teach high school mathematics and middle school math and science.

Before becoming an educator, I worked for many years as a computer software engineer. Music has been a constant thread throughout my life.
